Abraham is founder of investment and retirement research consultancy, FinalytiQ and creator of Timeline.co, an innovative online application for illustrating sustainable withdrawal strategies in retirement portfolios.

He has authored several industry papers and delivered talks to the FCA, Chartered Insurance Institute, Personal Finance Society and several conferences across the country. He holds a Master’s degree from Coventry and an alphabet soup of designations, including the IMC and Chartered Wealth Manager. But of course, no one really cares.

Abraham was one of 5 finalists for the Professional Adviser Personality of Year Award 2015, alongside the then Pensions Minister Steve Web but the award went to a more deserving winner, obviously!

George holds a Masters degree (with distinction) in Financial Mathematics from Kings College, London and an undergraduate degree in Financial Engineering.

For his undergraduate dissertation, George chose the topic “Integrated optimization models for immunizing and matching pension funds bond portfolios” and ‘Stochastic control for optimal dynamic trading strategies” for his Masters. Clearly, a mathematician at heart but the topics left us wondering why he didn’t choose harder ones!

After a very short stint at the Office for National Statistics – the obvious place to go after a degree in Statistics and Management Studies, Karthica started her career in financial planning. It’s a wonderful circle as she started out supporting advisers with research and paraplanning, before moving into the advisory role in 2004 and then back into a research role in 2014. Karthica holds the Chartered Financial Planner designation. She has worked within both large and small businesses and understand first-hand the challenges facing advisers today.

Outside of work, Karthica enjoyed learning different styles of dance over the years, However, life changes and although her footwear is now far more sedate, she enjoy messing around with her son, red wine and chocolate. The former in abundance.

Daniel holds a degree in Management with Finance MSc (Distinction) from the School of Management, University of Bath and an undergraduate degree in Economics BSc (2.1) from the University of York. After a spell working in the public sector primarily within technical and finance-based roles, he decided to change direction and found a home at FinalytiQ.

Outside of work Daniel can be found at the gym, baking (hence the gym) and tinkering with anything mechanical.

To paraphrase American writer Edward Abbey,

“Financial services are a bit like a stew. If you don’t stir it up every once in a while, then a layer of scum floats to the top.”

That’s why at FinalytiQ, we like to stir things up now and then. We aim to help financial firms deliver better outcomes to clients than they would without our help.

We are a vibrant, irreverent and evidence-based research consultancy working with financial planners and providers to improve client outcomes.  Founded in 2013 by a delusional fellow who thinks he can change the world, FinalytiQ has a track record of working with both large financial services providers and small financial planning firms. It counts amongst its clients, HSBC, Prudential, Aviva, Old Mutual Wealth, Transact, AJ Bell and Nucleus, to name but a few.

FinalytiQ is the provider of Timelineapp.co, web-based software that’s used by financial firms in seven countries including the UK, US, Canada, Ireland and Australia. Timeline is a unique product because it relies on extensive academic and practitioners’ research and data to help design a robust retirement strategy.

Ready to see what we do?

We provide research, benchmarking and consulting services to advisers, providers and asset managers. Our areas of expertise include investment propositions, retirement income and product/provider benchmarking.
