After semi-retiring at age 45, these days when he’s not sailing his yacht Spellbound around the world, Paul is training and coaching advisers on how to deliver a compelling financial planning proposition to clients. 

In this session, Paul is going to share his inspiring story about what led to transition his own advisory business into a highly profitable Lifestyle Financial Planning model as early as the Nineties. 

Clients rarely pick up the phone to speak to an adviser about ‘ lifestyle cashflow planning.’  Often they want to their pensions and investments sorted, right? So how do you get to the point where clients ‘get‘ financial planning. Does this sorts of service resonate with every client and why?

In his book, Paul talks about how advisers are focusing on the wrong things – products, demonstrating independence, investment propositions etc., but surely these are very important to clients and also from regulatory point of view? Given on all regulatory pressures on advisers, how do they manages these important aspects of their business, without being distracted from the core of what they do.

What are the key ingredients of a proposition that resonate with clients?  How do you articulate this and get clients writing the cheque?

We will also be taking about Paul’s InspirationAfloat Programme, which is essentially a coaching programme for advisers sailing with him on his yacht! Now that take things to an entirely different level, doesn’t it?
